Marine-Grade Products You Can Trust

Marine environments are among the most demanding for any coating. Salt, UV, constant moisture and biological growth all attack surfaces hard. Choosing the right marine-grade product — applied correctly — protects your investment and keeps your vessel looking sharp.

We stock the Norglass range, which is one of Australia's most trusted marine coating brands. Janet and the team can guide you through the right product system for your boat and budget.

Marine Paint Questions

Typically once a year for vessels in regular use, often timed around haulout. The frequency depends on the product used, how often the boat is in the water and local marine growth levels. Self-polishing antifouling needs to be in the water to be effective. Ask us for the right product for your situation.
In most cases yes, but compatibility matters. You should always use the same brand and type of antifouling, or do a full strip back if switching systems. We can advise on compatibility based on what's currently on your hull.
For above-waterline surfaces, a two-pack polyurethane gives the hardest, longest-lasting and most UV-resistant finish. For DIY application, a quality one-pack polyurethane or alkyd enamel is more forgiving and still provides excellent results. Come in and we'll match you to the right product and sheen.
